Kappahl is one of the leading fashion companies in the Nordics, with over 330 stores in five countries and online sales in 20 markets. To ensure smooth and efficient logistics, smart solutions are required – and that’s where Boxon comes in.
Since 2010, Kappahl has been using Tracy, a web-based cloud service for printing and managing labels. Through Tracy, Kappahl’s orders to suppliers are automatically converted into designed labels, ensuring that the correct information follows the products all the way from production to the distribution center in Mölndal.
With Tracy, Kappahl has full control over its labels and product flow. The labels can contain everything from price information and size to SKU numbers and other key details that enable complete traceability.
– We have the right information all the way from our suppliers in, for example, Bangladesh and India to us here in Mölndal. The system ensures that the labels are accurate and ready to use upon delivery, which makes our daily work easier, says Hannah Berggren, Quality Coordinator at Kappahl.
In addition to the labels ordered through suppliers, Kappahl also has the ability to print labels on-site in Mölndal. This provides extra flexibility, especially for tasks such as price re-labeling, where the BarTender software is used to create and print cover labels.
Sustainability in Focus
Kappahl actively works to reduce its environmental footprint, and through Tracy, the company has been able to minimize waste from order-based labels. All labels are made from recycled materials, and the paper labels are FSC-certified.
The hang tags are produced from FSC-certified cardboard and are available both on sheets and rolls. With our printing solutions, variable information can be managed smoothly and efficiently.
– We want to create a responsible fashion industry and firmly believe that it is possible to work sustainably while running a successful business. Through efficient and smart solutions, we can reduce our impact and be an inspiration for the industry, concludes Hannah.
