Arvid Nilsson started in 1918 and is a Nordic partner that distributes high-quality products within the field of fastening. For over 100 years, the company has offered innovative solutions that create value for the customers.
Arvid Nilsson chose to start working with us back in 2007, as we were able to offer the solutions they needed within an overall concept. The concept we supply for them includes blister packs, index tags, and storage. The storage service helps them to shorten their delivery times.
Since 2009, Arvid Nilsson has ordered the inserts for their blister packs from us. Then 3 years ago, they wanted to find a solution that would reduce their plastic consumption, in order to make their product more sustainable. It was very important for them to retain the information on the inserts, while also manufacturing a product that could be sealed and resealed.
Boxon worked together with the customer to develop a solution in which the new blister packs were mostly made from paper. These blister packs also met the customer’s other requirements.
With the help of this solution, the plastic consumption on their blister packs was reduced by 83%.
