The idea of starting a brewery was born in 2002 and, in 2005, the doors to Dugges brewery in Gothenburg were opened. Since then, the business has grown, and today they offer several drink flavours, as well as a restaurant called Pils.
Our partnership with Dugges began in 2019 when they were about to start canning their drink. At the time, they needed a new supplier that could offer them labels for their cans. As we were able to match their needs, they chose us as their supplier.
One of Dugges' challenges was finding a supplier that could meet their need to work with many different products. It was also important to match their needs for short lead times and rapid changes.
Their choice was based on finding a supplier that was both flexible and trustworthy.

In order to meet the customer’s need for flexibility and short deliveries, we have a unique tripartite cooperation with Dugges. This means that their designers work directly with Thomas in our Prepress department when we produce the proofs. The fact that several different functions work closely together means that we can offer the customer solutions according to their needs, which shortens the delivery times.
By offering Dugges the flexibility they want, they can also try to keep their material consumption low, as there is no need to over-produce.
Our collaboration with Dugges is both educational and fun. With their need for special effects on their labels, we are challenged to develop new solutions, which is both challenging and exciting," says Madelene Tinebo, Account Manager at Boxon.
