Our label production in Borås, Boxes & Labels, has produced labels and offered system-integrated label solutions since the 1970s. We invested early in modern printing technology and digital solutions and over the years we have made necessary and smart investments to deliver optimal solutions to our customers. Now we are investing in a another printing press, a BOBST Master M5.
The new strategic investment is a state-of-the-art BOBST Master M5 with 10 colors. It comes from our long-time partner, Visutech. Boxes & Labels has previously made investments in digital printinting, for example by acquiring an HP Indigo from Visutech.
The new printing press has an advanced technology for multi-layer labels, LED preparation, lamination and cold foil, as well as Digiflexo with high automation. This significant acquisition not only increases Boxes & Labels' production capacity, but also opens up new markets. It positions us to meet a wider range of customer needs.
The investment also further strengthens the strong bond that exists between Boxes & Labels and Visutech as partners. It highlights a shared commitment to deliver high-quality and innovative packaging and label solutions to our customers. Our partnership with Visutech ensures not only the technological advances, but also a stable service organization with a reputation for professional and fast support. This minimizes downtime and guarantees optimal operation for the machines acquired at Boxes & Labels.
